Christina Martin, LPC-S, LMFT-S

I have been a licensed clinician since 2011. I worked for several years at a residential treatment center for adolescent boys dealing with addiction and trauma. I also worked several years at a medical clinic and helped them develop an integrated care program, working with physical and mental health as a team. In 2023, I went fully into my own practice where I offer outpatient therapy, therapy intensives, coaching, supervision and consulting. I put an emphasis on trauma work and holistic health. I collaborate with many health professionals in town and it is my belief that we must work together to really help people heal.
As a trauma therapist, some days are really ugly…. but others are miraculously beautiful. I think my spiritual gift is being able to see who people are through their behavior and I’m so grateful for that lens. I chose the phoenix as my logo because I believe therapy and redemption are symbolized by beauty being able to be pulled from the ashes. We all go through hard things. Healing comes from being able to hold two truths in tension, things are really hard and we can find beautiful pieces to hold onto from it.
I’m a displaced Texan. I love the outdoors, reading and painting. Running is my therapy, though I’ll go find my own therapist when I need it. I love my hubby and my son more than I thought it was possible to love.
My hope, strength, joy and love are all rooted in my God. Without Him, nothing else matters. He is the creator and the one who can truly bring about the redemptive beauty from ashes. I have a passion for working with people coming out of religious trauma because I have experienced first hand the overwhelming destruction that has caused.
